Le Tesson

Having always had a fascination for the passage of time, Ellora Rangaya often ponders the position of her own existence in space-time. She observes the past and the cycles that form within it. This repetition creates a rhythm that invites her to imagine what the next sequence will be like. Passionate about history, she creates works that reinvest the codes of certain artistic or industrial currents while making reference to contemporary popular culture. Her work revolves around the concept of duality, creating a dialogue between past and present. She develops a universe where fantasy and casualness can rub shoulders with methodology and know-how. This blend of influences feeds both her own nostalgia and that shared by so many others, creating the opportunity for a complicit bond between artist and audience.
